Boundless Bio presents promising preclinical data for BBI-940
At the AACR annual meeting Boundless Bio presented preclinical data on BBI-940, an orally administered kinesin degrader that disrupts segregation of extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA) in cancer cells. Studies showed that degradation of the target protein leads to missegregation, depletion of ecDNA and reduced viability of ecDNA-containing cancer cells; in vivo models demonstrated tumor regressions and antitumor activity in breast cancer models. BBI-940 is currently being evaluated in the phase 1 KOMODO-1 study in patients with advanced ER+/HER2- and TNBC-LAR. The company is focusing on ecDNA-driven tumors; the report also briefly mentioned the stock and financial metrics. » More on de.investing.com
