Cheniere Energy Partners prices $2 billion of senior notes to refinance debt and fund Sabine Pass expansion
Cheniere Energy Partners priced $2 billion of senior notes in two tranches maturing 2036 (5.35%) and 2056 (6.05%). Net proceeds will be used to repay, refinance and redeem existing debt, including Sabine Pass Liquefaction notes due 2027, and may fund capex, working capital and other opportunities. Cheniere Energy Partners appoints Matthew Runkle to board; Scott Peak resigns
Cheniere Energy Partners appointed Matthew Runkle, effective Thursday, to the board of directors of its general partner, Cheniere Energy Partners GP, LLC. Runkle was also appointed to the executive committee and will serve as a member of the CMI SPA Committee; his appointment was made pursuant to the rights of CQP Holdco LP under the amended LLC agreement. Scott Peak simultaneously departed from the board, the executive committee and the CMI SPA Committee.
