Churchill Downs has signed a definitive agreement to repurchase a 49% stake in United Tote from NYRA Content Management Solutions. As part of the transaction, NYRA will extend its service agreement for totalisator wagering with United Tote through 2035; closing is expected by August 5, 2026. The U.S. state of Maryland will exercise its right of first refusal and take over the trademarks and other rights to the Preakness Stakes and Black-Eyed Susan Stakes from 1/ST Maryland LLC for $85 million.
