The upgrade was driven by strong operating results, adjusted leverage below 3.5x in the second quarter, and expected improvements to about 3.3x in 2026 and 3.0x in 2027; management’s net-leverage target is 2.5x. S&P praises higher adjusted EBITDA, strong operating cash flows and Concentra’s market-leading position in occupational health, but assigns a stable outlook and warns that persistently high leverage from aggressive M&A or distributions would pose a downgrade risk. » More on de.investing.com
