Core AI increases revenue by 56% and brings gross margin close to break-even
Core AI reported second-quarter revenue of $22.4 million, up 56% year over year, and reduced its gross loss to about $11,000 (prior year: $397,000). The revenue increase was mainly driven by higher advertising revenue from mobile games following optimizations in ad placements and user acquisition. In Q2 the company posted a net loss of $1.6 million; for the first half, revenue was $26.1 million and the gross loss was $3.1 million. Core AI launches Z Studio to develop and validate AI consumer applications
Core AI has launched Z Studio as a business unit that consolidates product strategy, development, user acquisition and monetization for AI consumer applications. Z Studio currently includes products such as HomeGPT, AICalfit and PlantCare, oversees 16 product development teams and is working on 129 internal prototypes; 27 prototypes ran live market-validation campaigns with paid user acquisition in the past 30 days. Core AI launches HomeGPT for AI-assisted home and garden design
Core AI has released the HomeGPT app, a multimodal AI platform for interior and exterior design, garden planning and 3D floorplan conversion. During a three-month beta, active users rose from about 2,000 to over 130,000 and the conversion rate to paid subscriptions increased by roughly 210%; users generated more than 380,000 design tasks.
