Crescent Energy expects preliminary derivatives payout of $40 million
Crescent Energy said preliminarily that it expects a total payout for commodity derivatives of around $40 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. This is offset by a projected net cash payment from derivative settlements of $101 million and receipts of $61 million from assumed oil, gas and LNG derivatives, which feed into the earnings guidance. The figures are preliminary and will be finalized in the upcoming 10‑Q; the company has about $5.5 billion of debt and recently announced a private placement of convertible notes increased to $600 million, after which several analysts raised their price targets. » More on de.investing.com
Crescent Energy reaches 52-week high at USD 12.40
Crescent Energy’s stock rose to a 52-week high of USD 12.40, having nearly doubled from a low of USD 6.83; year-to-date the gain is 46.3% and over six months 41.6%. The company placed a senior convertible note for USD 600m (maturity 2031, coupon 2.75%), which—thanks to the low interest rate and a capped-call structure—is expected to generate annual savings. Analysts reaffirm positive views: William Blair reiterates “Outperform” and Wells Fargo raises its price target to USD 14.00 with an “Overweight” rating; Crescent hedged roughly 66% of its oil production volumes for 2026, with a production mix of about 40% oil and 61% liquids. » More on de.investing.com
