  • Critical Metals jumps 25% as U.S.-Greenland security pact spotlights Tanbreez permit

Critical Metals shares surged about 25% after a U.S.-Greenland security agreement put the company's Tanbreez rare earth exploitation permit in focus. USA Rare Earth and MP Materials rose modestly as thematic beneficiaries, but the pact's text has not been released and does not itself grant new mining rights or funding. The move reflects geopolitical sentiment rather than a confirmed commercial shift; investors should watch for the published agreement and Critical Metals' feasibility study due by end of 2026. » More on finance.yahoo.com

  • Critical Metals benefits from Greenland security pact, stock jumps sharply

After the security agreement between the US, Denmark and Greenland, Critical Metals — whose share price jumped about 20% after market close from $6.73 to $8.11, reaching a market capitalization of roughly $1.19 billion — gained. The company holds 92.5% of the rare-earth project Tanbreez, whose geopolitical risk is reduced by the pact. However, the agreement contains neither direct financial commitments nor approvals; Tanbreez is not expected to produce before late 2028/early 2029, and Critical Metals will need further financing until then. » More on deraktionaer.de
