CSL reported FY26 total revenue of $15.8bn and an adjusted net profit after tax and depreciation and amortization of $3.1bn, both slightly above revised analyst expectations. The company expects adjusted earnings growth of around 5% for FY27 and announced a new share buyback program of A$1.1bn. Analysts subsequently raised several price targets; UBS, CLSA and Morgan Stanley upgraded their ratings, supported by stronger plasma trends, about $176m in cost savings and greater strategic flexibility following the spin-off of Seqirus. » More on de.investing.com

CSL rises 16.4% after results and outlook
CSL called 2026 a “transition year”, reporting revenue of $15.8 billion (currency‑adjusted -1%) and an adjusted NPAT‑A of $3.1 billion, while a statutory loss of $2.6 billion was caused by $6.0 billion of restructuring and impairments. Investors focused on a strong operating cash flow of $3.5 billion, a new $1.1 billion AUD share buyback program and the outlook for around 5% adjusted NPAT growth in 2027 with largely stable revenue. CSL Behring is expected to return to mid‑single‑digit revenue growth in the medium term, while Vifor, as the biggest drag for 2027, expects revenue to fall by about 25%. The stock jumped 16.4% after the announcement as the market put more weight on the outlook, cash flows and capital returns than on the accounting loss. » More on de.investing.com
