CVC Income & Growth said that assistant portfolio manager Mitchell Glynn is leaving CVC Credit. Pieter Staelens will continue to manage the investment vehicle and will be supported by the 40-strong credit team and the investment committee. CVC: AI crucial for portfolio management, partnership with Google Cloud
CVC chief Rob Lucas stressed at the SuperReturn conference that AI brings disruptive effects and offers a massive advantage to portfolio companies if implemented quickly and boldly. CVC considers €9 billion offer to delist Nexi
According to the Financial Times, private‑equity firm CVC is weighing an offer of around €9 billion to take payments provider Nexi off the stock exchange. Talks are reportedly at an early stage and it is unclear whether they will continue. A deal would be politically sensitive because it concerns control of Italy’s financial infrastructure; CVC would only bid with state approval.
