Energy Transfer to move primary listing to Texas Stock Exchange, raising visibility but risking liquidity
Energy Transfer will shift its primary listing from the NYSE to the newly launched Texas Stock Exchange in early October, becoming the first major company to do so. The move could boost the company's visibility and valuation if TXSE attracts institutional investors and other large energy names, but TXSE currently accounts for under 1% of U.S. equity trading. Investors may worry about reduced liquidity and governance questions given Executive Chairman Kelcy Warren's stake in the exchange's parent. The listing is a strategic signal rather than an earnings catalyst; Energy Transfer's valuation still depends on cash flow, leverage, project execution and volume growth. » More on finance.yahoo.com

Energy Transfer's 6.3% yield likely sustainable after 2020 cut, says analysis
Energy Transfer's 6.3% distribution faces sector volatility but is more defensible after a 2020 cut that strengthened the balance sheet and reduced debt-to-EBITDA from 5.4x to 4.1x. Management targets 3–5% annual distribution growth and distributable cash flow covered the payout 2.2x in Q2, giving the MLP leeway through downturns. The company remains more leveraged and complex than peer Enterprise Products Partners, so the higher yield reflects greater risk for conservative investors. » More on finance.yahoo.com
