Evercore: stock falls despite Q2 beat after sharp decline from record quarter
Evercore reported Q2 2026 EPS of $2.91 and revenue of $990.2 million, each slightly above consensus, but declined sharply versus the record-high Q1 with $1.4 billion in revenue and EPS of $7.53. The stock fell in pre-market trading as the result did not match the high bar set in Q1 and the company announced only an unchanged quarterly dividend of $0.89. Weaker sequential performance and a slightly negative market environment dampened investor sentiment, although the business is growing year-on-year. » More on de.investing.com
