Fate Therapeutics presents promising preliminary FT819 data in systemic sclerosis
Fate Therapeutics presented preliminary clinical data on its allogeneic CAR‑T candidate FT819 at the annual meeting of the International Society for Stem Cell Research, focusing on the systemic sclerosis arm of the ongoing phase‑1 basket study. All of the first four patients treated between June 4 and 12 achieved a CRISS ≥25 at three months and showed improvements in the modified Rodnan skin score, with no reports of cytokine release syndrome, ICANS, GvHD, hypogammaglobulinemia, or deaths. FT819 is also being investigated in systemic lupus and is planned for a phase‑2 study in lupus nephritis. Fate Therapeutics is trading near its 52‑week high, has a market capitalization of about $340 million, and remained financially flexible despite cash burn of roughly $108 million. » More on de.investing.com
Fate Therapeutics presents CAR‑T data at ASCO and European Congress of Rheumatology
Fate Therapeutics will present data on three CAR‑T candidates at specialist conferences in late May/early June: preliminary Phase‑1 results for FT836 at the ASCO meeting, safety/efficacy data for FT819 and an oral presentation on FT839 at the European Congress of Rheumatology. The company is developing iPSC‑derived, “off‑the‑shelf” cellular immunotherapies. Investors should note that Fate is burning cash quickly, remains unprofitable, but the stock has risen sharply since the start of the year. » More on de.investing.com
Fate Therapeutics presents new CAR-T data at ASGCT meeting
At the ASGCT annual meeting, Fate Therapeutics presented clinical data on FT819 in systemic lupus erythematosus: three patients who received a single dose without conditioning showed SRI-4 responses and two achieved LLDAS; B-cell depletion persisted for up to 12 months, and a higher dose of 900 million cells has been initiated. Preclinical data for FT839 (dual targeting CD19/CD38) showed >99% depletion of B cells, plasmablasts and plasma cells and high selectivity versus activated T cells. FT836 demonstrated tumor control in xenograft models as both monotherapy and in combination, and radiation and chemotherapy increased MICA/B expression and cytolytic activity. The company remains unprofitable but has a cash surplus and a market capitalization of about $278 million. » More on de.investing.com
