Fermi signed a binding deal with TensorWave for up to 650 megawatts, including a 15-year initial commitment for 222 MW that Fermi estimates could generate roughly $6.5 billion of revenue over the term. The company appointed Lee McIntire as CEO, completed an upsized $431 million convertible note offering, and reported turbines on site with a target to deliver the first 210–222 MW by July 1, 2027. He has served as an independent board member at Fermi since September 2025 and is expected to lead the company into its construction and power-provision phase.
