Fluor posts strong Q2 results and stock rises nearly 18%

Fluor reported a 9% revenue increase in the second quarter to $4.3 billion, adjusted EPS of $0.91 (consensus $0.70) and adjusted EBITDA of $149 million, more than double year-ago levels. Bookings amounted to $6.1 billion, lifting the backlog to $26.9 billion.
