Snow Lake Energy receives FIRB approval for takeover of Global Uranium and Enrichment and stake in Ubaryon

Snow Lake Energy has received approval from the Australian Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) for its planned takeover of Global Uranium and Enrichment (GUE) and for acquiring an indirect 21.9% stake in Ubaryon. The company aims to complete the GUE transaction in early 2026; the approval also covers Urenco’s planned 13% acquisition of Ubaryon for A$5 million. Snow Lake emphasizes expanding its capabilities in the nuclear fuel cycle, prioritizes liquid assets over debt (current ratio 3.19), but is currently unprofitable and burning cash rapidly.
