Frasers boss Michael Murray becomes chairman of Hugo Boss's supervisory board
The Frasers Group is strengthening its influence at Hugo Boss: Michael Murray was elected chairman of the supervisory board after Stephan Sturm resigned under pressure. Frasers recently increased its stake in Hugo Boss to 48 percent and is aiming for a majority. Frasers Group says that after completing its voluntary takeover offer it has held talks with Stephan Sturm about the composition of the supervisory board. Both sides agreed that Sturm will step down as chair and member of the supervisory board as soon as regulations permit.
