IDEXX Laboratories reaffirms growth targets, highlights diagnostic pipeline
IDEXX Laboratories reiterated long-term targets of >10% organic revenue growth and >15% EPS growth, driven by recurring revenue and an underpenetrated $45bn veterinary diagnostics market. Management emphasized product momentum—expanding the inVue Dx cytology platform, adding Catalyst tests, broadening Cancer Dx into a multi-cancer panel and developing MultiQ Dx—while expecting ~1.5% fewer veterinary visits in H2 but higher diagnostic utilization from an aging, more medicalized pet population. The company targets a full-year comparable operating margin above 32%, plans continued commercial expansion and R&D investment, and prioritizes organic growth with excess capital returned via share repurchases. » More on finance.yahoo.com
IDEXX presents growth plan at Morgan Stanley conference and bets on diagnostic innovation
IDEXX presented a growth plan at the Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Conference that offsets a near‑term slight decline in veterinary visits (expected H2‑2026: −1.5 to −2%) with long‑term tailwinds from new diagnostic products and commercial expansion. Management highlighted an "exceptional" Q2, raised the annual guidance, and reaffirmed long‑term targets of over 10% organic growth and more than 15% EPS growth. Key drivers are new products such as Cancer Dx, inVue Dx and the planned MultiQ Dx platform, along with investments in sales, software and international expansion; the operating margin for 2026 is expected to exceed 32%. IDEXX emphasizes high recurring revenue in reference labs, strong test demand, and the use of free cash flow for reinvestment and share buybacks. » More on de.investing.com
