Leap Therapeutics: DeFianCe phase 2 misses primary endpoint, DKK1 biomarkers suggest efficacy

Leap Therapeutics reported Phase 2 DeFianCe data for sirexatamab combined with bevacizumab and chemotherapy in advanced colorectal adenocarcinoma; the predefined primary endpoint of PFS in the intent-to-treat population was not met, with 9.2 vs. 8.3 months (HR 0.84). Exploratory biomarker analyses, however, show that patients with higher baseline DKK1 had greater PFS benefits versus control (top quartile 9.4 vs. 5.9 months). Leap Therapeutics rebrands as Cypherpunk and buys $50M worth of Zcash

Leap Therapeutics announced it will rebrand to Cypherpunk Technologies and begin trading under the ticker CYPH, shifting from biotech to a crypto treasury strategy focused on Zcash. The company used $50 million from a private placement led by Winklevoss Capital to purchase 203,775.27 ZEC at an average price of $245.37 per coin and said it aims to hold at least 5% of ZEC supply.
