Bennett was Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix from 2012–2019 and previously held senior roles at Warner Bros.; she has also advised Microsoft Xbox and the founders of Nubank and is currently chair of the supervisory board at Zalando as well as a venture advisor at Technology Crossover Ventures.   • Lloyds Bank delays transfer of £5,500 after account-closure system error

    A parish treasurer reports Lloyds Bank closed the church's account and a bank system fault prevented opening the required new business account. The church opened an account at another bank but Lloyds repeatedly delayed transferring the remaining balance of nearly £5,500, at one point claiming lost ID documents. After months of complaints Lloyds offered £400 goodwill and £96 lost interest and finally transferred the funds more than four months after closure. » More on theguardian.com


  • Lloyds Banking Group redeems £500m subordinated bonds on 15 September 2026

    Lloyds Banking Group announces the repayment of its 1.985% Fixed Rate Reset Subordinated Debt Securities due 2031 with an outstanding principal amount of £500m. The redemption will be made at 100% of principal plus interest accrued up to the repayment date; the NYSE listing will be suspended on or shortly after 15 September 2026.
