Mynaric acquired by Rocket Lab

US group Rocket Lab has acquired Munich-based laser communications manufacturer Mynaric for around €155 million, with the payment consisting largely of Rocket Lab shares. Mynaric is to keep its headquarters in Munich and serve as Rocket Lab’s first European base. Rocket Lab plans to use the laser terminals, among other things, in 36 US military satellites; Mynaric had previously run into financial trouble after delayed mass production and underwent a restructuring process. » More on finanzen.net
