National Fuel Gas filed a legal opinion from law firm Scarinci & Hollenbeck as an attachment to its existing S-3 registration (Exhibits 5.1 and 23.1) with the SEC, without disclosing any additional financial or business information. Previously, the company reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of $1.54 per share (expected $1.42) on revenue of $537.5 million, which missed expectations.
