The BMW Group will use NXP’s Trimension NCJ29D6 ultra-wideband technology starting with its 2026 vehicle programs. The chip combines precise spatial positioning and short-range radar functions and enables Digital Key Plus, presence detection, and warnings for persons or animals left behind.
