Old Mutual is moving its secondary listing in Zimbabwe from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange to the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange; trading is set to begin on 12 August 2026. The opening price will be determined by the market via the VFEX trading system by matching buy and sell orders without the usual price limits. From the second trading day onward, the regular VFEX price limits of 20% relative to the previous day's closing price will apply. Old Mutual has announced a virtual roundtable with shareholders for 29 July after the remuneration policy and remuneration report received only 68.39% and 70.72% support respectively at the annual general meeting on 5 June, falling short of the required 75% threshold. Shareholders can register online and submit their concerns or recommendations in writing to head of investor relations Langa Manqele by 24 July. Old Mutual has announced it will move its secondary listing in Zimbabwe from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange to the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX); the move is subject to regulatory approvals. Old Mutual’s shares have been suspended on the ZSE since June 2020. The VFEX trades and settles in US dollars and has seen sharply rising volumes and more listed companies since 2021.
