Open House targets smooth succession as founder Masaaki Arai hands over CEO role

Masaaki Arai stepped down as president and CEO of Open House at age 60, retaining a board seat and pledging to support management and train successors. The Tokyo-based developer reported record operating profit of about ¥146 billion on sales of ¥1.34 trillion for the year through September 2025 and expects fiscal 2026 to deliver double-digit revenue and earnings growth.
