PKN Orlen reports strong operating cash flow and proposes record dividend

PKN Orlen posted Q2 2026 revenue of PLN 76.5 billion, EBITDA of PLN 13.9 billion and operating cash flow of PLN 15.2 billion despite extensive maintenance shutdowns. Net debt stands at PLN 4.5 billion, or 0.1x EBITDA, and management proposes a record dividend of PLN 8 per share. Investment plans for 2026 remain around PLN 36 billion; the third quarter is likely to be burdened by further turnarounds, while refinery and power margins are expected to be supportive. Fuel price cap in the Czech Republic expired – effects for PKN ORLEN gas stations initially small

The state price cap on petrol and diesel in the Czech Republic was lifted after more than three months. At many filling stations prices rose by only a few euro cents; larger increases are expected at high-traffic locations such as motorway service areas. The government justified ending the regulation by saying the original reasons no longer apply, but announced it will carry out inspections if there are irregularities. Orlen weighs stake in Ukrnafta and expands engagement in Ukraine

Polish energy group Orlen has opened talks on a potential equity stake in state-owned Ukrainian oil company Ukrnafta to deepen its business ties with Ukraine. Orlen already supplies about 1.5 million tonnes of refinery products annually and imports LNG, sells gas to Ukraine, and recently signed supply contracts with Naftogaz.
