  • Prada shares jump 14.1% after strong half-year results

    Prada reported constant-currency net revenue growth of 16% to €3.048bn and accelerated organic growth in the second quarter to 7%.   • Prada leads BofA ranking of strongest luxury brands 2026

    In the BofA Brand Leading Indicator for Q2 2026, Prada ranks first in the soft-luxury segment, followed by Michael Kors and Alaïa. The ranking evaluates 43 brands based on social followers, search queries and website traffic, weighting momentum at 60% and digital presence at 40%. Michael Kors improved strongly thanks to increased Google searches, while Prada and Alaïa were consistently highly placed in the first half of the year.   • Prada ends supplier contracts after inspections over illegal labor and safety shortcomings

    Prada has terminated several contracts following intensified inspections of suppliers: in 2025, 173 inspections produced 43 findings, six with significant shortcomings and 37 with deviations from company standards. More than a quarter of roughly 850 partners who were repeatedly and unannounced inspected failed due to serious violations such as unauthorized sleeping quarters, inadequate safety and insufficient waste management.
