Rotork increases margins in H1 2026 thanks to strong CPI business

Rotork reported revenue of £367m and adjusted operating profit of £82m for the first half of 2026; the adjusted operating margin improved to 22.4%. The CPI division was the driver with 16% revenue growth, supported by strong demand for critical HVAC systems and data centres, while the oil and gas business was weaker. Cash generation remained robust (cash conversion 79%), net cash stood at £25m, and the interim dividend was slightly increased. Rotork agrees £4.1bn takeover as UK takeover wave accelerates
