Scherzer & Co. approves 2026 share buyback program
Scherzer & Co. has approved a new share buyback: from the expected 8 June 2026 until no later than 30 April 2027 up to 1,500,000 shares with a total value of up to EUR 4.5m may be acquired; the buyback will be suspended from 24 to 31 December 2026. Previously, between 3 July 2025 and 30 April 2026 the company repurchased 746,873 treasury shares (2.75% of the share capital) at an average price of EUR 2.4299. Purchases will be made via Xetra and Tradegate; the price may deviate by a maximum of ±10% from the volume-weighted average price of the last three trading days, and the program will be executed by a bank under safe-harbour conditions. Scherzer & Co. boosts 2025 annual net income sharply, analyst raises price target and confirms buy
Scherzer & Co. increased its 2025 annual net income by over 70% to €4.9 million. GSC analyst Jens Nielsen attributed the development to large write-ups and low write-downs on securities holdings and stressed that income from special situations played no significant role in 2025. Scherzer & Co. closes fiscal year 2025 with preliminary EBIT of €4.8 million and EBT of €4.7 million. The day value of the portfolio positions (NAV) was €3.39 per share as of 31 December 2025, up 12.25% versus year-end 2024; the current NAV is €3.40.
