Steris builds $600 million production center in North Carolina

Steris announces a $600 million investment for a new 600,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center near the Raleigh-Durham Research Triangle. Upon completion, the company will relocate its chemical operations from St. Louis and Plymouth to the new site, which will produce chemicals for infection prevention and contamination control. The facility is expected to be operational in two to three years, with distribution activities starting earlier; about 335 jobs will be created. STERIS raises dividend for 2026 to $2.46 per share

At the annual general meeting a dividend of $2.46 per share was approved for 2026, an increase of 10.31% versus the previous year.
