The shares of SUSS MicroTec fell in places by around 0.96% amid a worldwide sell-off in the semiconductor sector. SÜSS MicroTec reports record order backlog and sharp rise in demand

At the online investor conference SÜSS MicroTec said order intake reached record levels in H1 2026 at EUR 410 million and EUR 260.7 million in Q2 alone. The order backlog rose to EUR 473.7 million, with around EUR 240 million scheduled for delivery in 2026 and EUR 220 million in 2027. The company confirmed its 2026 revenue guidance of EUR 425–485 million (midpoint EUR 455 million) and reported improved margins (gross margin H1 37.2%, EBIT margin H1 7%, Q2 9%). Growth drivers are Advanced Backend Solutions, Advanced Packaging and AI infrastructure, while supply-chain bottlenecks could weigh on future deliveries and margins in 2027. » More on de.investing.com
