Swiss Life aims to grow its total investment portfolio twice as fast as the market and to invest disproportionately in real estate and infrastructure, says CIO Per Erikson. Growth should not only increase volume but also strengthen margins, since real estate and infrastructure offer higher margins than securities. Swiss Life remains open to opportunistic acquisitions in asset management but will only pursue suitable transactions.
