BeFra (Betterware de México) completes acquisition of Tupperware Latin America
Betterware de México (BeFra/BWMX) has completed the acquisition of Tupperware’s operating businesses in Latin America, mainly covering Mexico and Brazil, and obtained a perpetual, royalty-free brand license for the region. The transaction was carried out at a debt- and cash-free purchase price of $250 million (a $215 million financed cash offer and $35 million in new BeFra shares with up to a nine-month lock-up) and received all required regulatory approvals. The acquired business generated revenue of $270 million and adjusted EBITDA of $82 million in 2025; on a pro forma basis 2025 earnings per share rose to $2.11 (from $1.46) with a pro forma leverage of 1.9x versus 1.6x before the transaction. The market reacted positively to the acquisition, which complements Betterware’s portfolio alongside the Betterware and Jafra brands and will be operated as a standalone business unit. » More on de.investing.com
