Vera Bradley increases revenue in Q1 2027, misses earnings and revenue forecasts

Vera Bradley reported Q1 2027 revenue of $55.7 million (+7.8% y/y) and a loss of $0.36 per share, missing both revenue and earnings expectations (estimates: $87.27 million revenue, -$0.10 EPS). The indirect distribution segment grew 26.6% and the operating loss narrowed by 76%. For FY2027 the company expects EPS of -$0.34, and for FY2028 an EPS of $0.01. Vera Bradley elects new board of directors and approves expansion of stock incentive plan

Shareholders elected six directors to one-year terms and ratified Deloitte & Touche as auditor. They also approved 3,000,000 additional common shares for the 2020 Equity and Incentive Plan and a non-binding advisory vote on named executive compensation. Vera Bradley: board member Carrie Tharp resigns after promotion at Google

Vera Bradley announces that Carrie Tharp will not stand for re-election to the board of directors at the 2026 annual general meeting. Tharp, who has served on the board since 2020 and was a member of the compensation and audit committees, was recently promoted to Go To Market COO & VP Customer Experience at Google Cloud and is therefore ending her mandate. The board will in future consist of six members; the vacancy will not be filled.
