Whitecap raises 2026 output guidance, targets C$2.2b free cash flow
Whitecap updated its 2026 guidance to 384,000–386,000 BOE/day (≈61% liquids) and, using a US$75 oil and C$2/GJ AECO gas price deck, expects C$4.3 billion of cash flow, C$2.1 billion of capex and C$2.2 billion of free cash flow. Efficiency gains from the Veren acquisition improve capital and operating costs and are expected to add roughly C$500 million annually to free cash flow. The company plans to cut net debt to about C$2 billion by end-2026 while continuing dividends and buybacks, targeting longer-term production growth and maintaining hedges on a portion of volumes. » More on finance.yahoo.com
