Workiva launches Agent Studio for AI-powered process automation
At the Amplify 2026 conference, Workiva introduced Agent Studio, a platform that lets users create AI agents to automate business processes, customize them to company-specific data and schedule tasks — all without programming skills. The company also announced three AI solutions for regulatory reporting (including BEA, US Census and country-by-country reporting) designed to help accounting and finance teams manage compliance obligations on the Workiva platform. For internal audit and governance, risk and compliance (GRC), Workiva unveiled an automated audit solution that uses orchestrated AI agents to automate and document evidence collection, sample selection, attribute testing and reporting. » More on de.investing.com
Workiva bets on agent-based AI to expand beyond reporting
At the Goldman Sachs conference, Workiva presented a strategy built on agent-based AI, increased focus on regulatory tasks and platform expansion. The company reports sustained subscription growth of about 20% in recent quarters, has already reached its margin targets for 2027 and is aiming for further financial goals by 2030. Workiva monetizes AI through a value-based pricing structure; premium AI tiers are adopted by over 20% of upgraders. Management sees large upselling potential (more than half of customers currently use only one to two solutions), but warns that not all customers will adopt the most advanced AI features and growth is likely to slow as the company gets larger. » More on de.investing.com
