Republic Airways has completed its merger with Mesa Air Group; Republic shareholders hold around 88% of the common stock, Mesa shareholders between 6% and 12%. The combined company will operate the world’s largest fleet of Embraer E-Jets with 310 aircraft and will offer more than 1,300 daily departures to over 100 destinations in North America. Republic will continue serving American, Delta and United under existing capacity purchase agreements, and Mesa will support United under a new ten-year contract. Mesa Air Group has extended the maturity of its loan and guaranty agreement with Jefferies to 28 November 2025 (with an optional 30‑day extension), granted a 90‑day interest‑free period and provided collateral. The company is working on restructuring $121.5 million of liabilities and would achieve a $12.3 million reduction in equity upon full repayment.
