Aurubis: delay in Richmond weighs on stock despite strong quarterly results

Aurubis reports about a six-month delay in ramping up the new recycling plant in Richmond, Virginia; phase 1 is pushed to 2026/27, phase 2 to 2027/28. At the same time, operating profit before taxes rose roughly 160% year on year to €149m (analyst consensus €128m) and revenue increased 40% to €6.45bn.
