Richemont share falls sharply after industry disappointments and weak China demand
The Richemont share came under significant pressure toward the end of the week, falling about 4.9% intraday after international competitors’ disappointing results weighed on the entire luxury sector. A stake would give Richemont greater control over its supply chain; GDC, Signet and Richemont declined to confirm takeover interest. The sale comes against the backdrop of sharply weaker diamond demand, falling prices and growing competition from synthetic stones. » Plus sur manager-magazin.de
