Fresnillo appoints Rodrigo Sandoval as CFO, Mario Arreguín resigns

Fresnillo announces the resignation of finance chief Mario Arreguín after 37 years; he had been CFO since 2008 and oversaw the IPO. Rodrigo Sandoval (50) will be named designated CFO effective 21 September and, following a handover period, will assume the role and a seat on the Executive Committee on 1 November. Fresnillo has set the exchange rate for the 2026 interim dividend at US$1.35537/GBP. The announced dividend of 43.4 US cents per share therefore corresponds to 32.0208 pence per share. Fresnillo beats profit forecast for H1 2026 and cuts CapEx outlook

Fresnillo reports adjusted EPS of $1.75 for H1 2026 (consensus $1.52) and revenue of $3.41bn, driven by record silver and gold prices. Gross and operating profit and EBITDA reached record levels, and operating cash flow rose to $2.36bn. Management confirmed the 2026 production guidance, cut capital expenditure by $200m to $500–550m and is using conservative price assumptions for H2.
