IAMGOLD has completed the sale of its 35% interest in the Bambadji joint venture and the Bambadji and Bambadji Sud exploration licences in Senegal to Fortuna Mining. IAMGOLD will receive approximately $70m in cash before Senegalese capital gains taxes and transaction costs; the total consideration to the JV partners is $200m in cash plus a 0.5% NSR on the first 1.75 million ounces of gold.
