JL Mag Rare-Earth rises after positive profit forecast

Shares of JL Mag Rare-Earth jumped 17.0% to HK$19.45 after the company issued a positive profit forecast for H1 2026. Net profit attributable to shareholders is estimated at RMB 400–460 million, an increase of around 31–51% year-on-year; revenue is expected to rise about 30%. Mag Rare Earth reportedly receives export license for rare earths

After Beijing loosened export restrictions, Mag Rare Earth has reportedly been granted a license for accelerated exports of rare earths, according to an insider. The move is the result of the summit between US President Trump and head of state Xi Jinping and is intended to resume shipments of strategic raw materials.
