Chanel has appointed Hélène de Tissot, until now finance chief at Pernod Ricard, as its new Chief Financial Officer. She will join in October and take on full CFO responsibility in London from January, reporting to CEO Leena Nair. De Tissot worked at Pernod Ricard for more than two decades, most recently eight years as Executive Vice President for Finance and Technology. Indian investigators are demanding a $314 million payment from Pernod Ricard, accusing the group of concealing information about Scotch whisky imports to avoid high duties.
