Heineken: stock rises after strong H1 figures, CFO cites Iran war costs of €100m
Heineken gained about 2.8% after better‑than‑expected half‑year results. The CFO put cost inflation caused by the war in Iran at around €100m. Organic EBITDA growth of 6.4% was driven mainly by Asia‑Pacific and Africa & Middle East and beat the 3.3% consensus. J.P. Morgan called the results strong but sees short‑term pressure on the stock due to the June rally, the CEO announcement and another disappointing business performance in Europe. » Plus sur de.investing.com

Heineken appoints Rafael Oliveira as new group CEO
Rafael Oliveira, formerly at JDE Peet's, will take over leadership of Heineken on Oct. 1 and will replace Dolf van den Brink. The move ends a months-long leadership vacuum and follows pressure from shareholders who demanded an external executive. Oliveira is regarded as a forceful, cost- and return-focused manager, which is intended to drive Heineken’s implementation programs amid falling beer demand, high costs and announced job cuts. » Plus sur faz.net
