Quanex Building Products reports $409.1M Q1 sales, $27.4M adjusted EBITDA
Quanex Building Products posted FQ1 2026 net sales of $409.1 million, up 2.3% year‑over‑year driven by foreign‑exchange translation and pass‑through of tariffs that offset lower Extruded Solutions volumes. GAAP net loss narrowed to $4.1 million from $14.9 million a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA declined to $27.4 million due to reduced operating leverage and temporary costs at the Monterrey facility. The company expects to be a net borrower in H1 because of seasonality and the Tyman integration, but reported liquidity of $331.6 million and a leverage ratio of 2.8x and reiterated priority on debt repayment. Full‑year FY2026 guidance targets $1.84–1.87 billion in sales and $240–245 million in adjusted EBITDA, with management expecting a stronger H2 as consumer confidence stabilizes. » Plus sur finance.yahoo.com
