RTL brings up to ten European Cup matches to Sky in Germany

By acquiring the media rights for the Europa League and Conference League, RTL will offer up to ten European competition matches per matchday on Sky in Germany. Sky will broadcast the live feed from Sky Österreich, while production will partly take place in Germany with well-known German commentators. Rights conflicts can arise in German‑Austrian matchups because Canal+ holds first-choice rights in Austria; RTL may alternatively show games free-to-air on RTL or Nitro, or via RTL+. RTL to end cult series "Unter uns" at the end of 2026

RTL will not continue production of the daily soap "Unter uns" after the end of 2026; episodes already produced will continue to air in full on RTL and RTL+, with the current season running until March 2027. The move is part of a strategic realignment of the afternoon and early-evening schedule and is attributed to changed economic conditions, shifts in usage patterns, and the future direction of the programming block. Producer Ufa Serial Drama still regards the brand as valuable and is examining possible prospects for the series.
