Strong profit growth drives Shandong Gold Mining stock

Shandong Gold Mining's shares rose about 6.5% to HK$27.18 after the company reported a first-half 2026 net profit attributable to shareholders of roughly RMB 3.543 billion (up more than 26%), despite revenue falling about 5.6% to RMB 53.588 billion.
