Spur Corporation posts revenue and cash-flow gains despite legal provision

Spur Corporation reports group revenue of 1.3 billion ZAR for the 2026 financial year (+8.5%) and restaurant revenue of 12.3 billion ZAR (+6.9%). The operating margin improved to 10.4%, adjusted pre-tax profit rose 12.8%, while reported pre-tax profit fell 19.4% due to a 129 million ZAR provision for a GPS legal dispute. The company generated strong cash flow (488.6 million ZAR) and held 494 million ZAR in cash; the board approved a final dividend of 2.06 ZAR (full year 3.26 ZAR).
