Kinaxis unveils AI offensive for agent-based orchestration

At the Citi conference, Kinaxis announced an expansion from planning to operational orchestration using agent-based AI and semantic architectures. In the first half of 2024, SaaS revenue and ARR each grew by about 20%, and management raised the annual outlook but remained cautious because of exchange rates, macro uncertainty and the timing of large contract signings. Roughly 10% of customers are already testing or paying for the prebuilt "Maestro Agents"; the strategic roadmap includes three AI phases, from LLM integration through agents to execution orchestration.
