Lojas Renner cuts 2026 sales forecast after disappointing Q2
Lojas Renner beat earnings expectations in the second quarter with EPS of $0.449 but missed revenue at $4.17 billion, citing the FIFA World Cup and a weak consumer climate. Management lowered its 2026 sales growth forecast from about 9% to 4–8% and expects a recovery in the second half of the year thanks to larger selling space and commercial initiatives. Despite weak sales, gross margins rose to record levels for a Q2, the online business grew by 13.1%, and the stock fell sharply after the close. The company plans 50–60 new stores, further investments in digital, and maintains a payout of 50–80% of net income. » Altro su de.investing.com
