Sivers Semiconductors has agreed a strategic collaboration with GLOBALFOUNDRIES to develop silicon-photonics solutions for AI data centers. Sivers' laser arrays are to be integrated into reference designs on GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ silicon-photonics and SCALE platforms to support architectures such as co-packaged optics and linear pluggable optics.
